Really Popular Crispy Deep Fried Cauliflower
- 1 as much (to taste) Cauliflower (or broccoli)
- 1/2 Egg
- 2 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons Oyster sauce
- 4 to 5 tablespoons Katakuriko
- 1 add if the batter is too thick Water
- Combine the (A) ingredients and mix well.
- The batter should be pretty thick.
- Adjust the thickness with katakuriko or water since eggs differ in wateriness.
- Coat cauliflower that's been cut into easy to eat pieces in the batter and deep fry (about 320F/160C).
- Opitional: This is delicious served with Japanese-style Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mentsuyu sauce or whatever sauce you like.
