Bacon Wrapped Halibut With Tomatoes And Green Beans Recipe

  1. Heat large saucepan of water to a boil; cook the green beans four min.
  2. Drain, set aside.
  3. Cut the halibut into 2 1/2-by-4 inch pcs.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Wrap bacon around sides of the fish pcs, securing with kitchen string or possibly a toothpick.
  6. Heat an oven-proof skillet over high heat.
  7. Add in fish, bacon side down; brown on all sides, about two min.
  8. Place the pan in the oven; roast till fish is cooked, four to five min.
  9. Remove fish from the pan; keep hot.
  10. Drain all but 2 tsp.
  11. of fat from pan; place pan over high heat.
  12. Add in garlic and green onions; cook one minute.
  13. Stir in wine; add in tomatoes, cook two min.
  14. Add in green beans; cook one minute.
  15. Place vegetables and sauce on platter.
  16. Remove string or possibly toothpicks from fish; place on top of vegetables.
