Berlins Conch Stew Recipe
- 2 lb conch
- 1 sm onion minced
- 1 lb potatoes sliced
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- Lb.
- the Conch with a large meat mallet, whiskey bottle or possibly hammer for 10 to 15 min and cut into bite-size pcs.
- Fry the onion in the bottom of the pot in the oil till tender.
- Whisk in the flour, stirring till brown.
- Add in water, conch and the potatoes.
- Simmer over low heat 45 min to 1 hour or possibly till the conch is tender.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
