Brussels Sprouts With Lemon And Mustard Sauce Recipe

  1. Rinse the sprouts and trim off the stems.
  2. Cut an "X" into the base of each sprout.
  3. Steam the sprouts for 7 to 10 min over boiling water.
  4. (Don't overcook.)
  5. In a saucepan, slowly heat the margarine, stir in the lemon juice and mustard.
  6. Add in the well-liquid removed, cooked sprouts and toss.
  7. Serve immediately.
  8. Top with lemon zest (optional).
  9. This recipe yields 4 servings.
