Chipotle Barbecue Sauce

  2. Drain chilies reserve sauce Set aside 4 chilies aside and 1 tablespoon adobo sauce .
  3. Reserve remainder for furture use.
  4. Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in skillet over medium-high heat , add onions and garlic.
  5. Cook 5 minutes or until tender, stirring constantly .
  6. Stir in chilies and sauce.
  7. Cook for one minute.
  8. Stir in ketchup and next 5 ingrediences.
  9. Bring to a boil , reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
  10. Remove from heat and set aside.
  11. This is a spicey sauce and it tast better if it sits for a while.
  12. You can control the heat with more or less chilies.
  13. It will keep in the refrigerator for up to a week.
