Grilled Chicken on Flat Bread

  1. Marinate your chicken ahead of time with your favorite marinade.
  2. (I used McCormicks Backyard Brew and let my chicken marinate for 3 hours.)
  3. I also make my ranch dressing ahead of time so it can have time to chill.
  4. You will use this as one of the toppings when you assemble your flat bread.
  5. Grill the marinated chicken breasts.
  6. While your hubby is grilling, prepare the rest of your ingredients.
  7. Finely slice lettuce so it is thin shreds.
  8. Dice the tomato.
  9. Slice your avocado into wedges.
  10. Grate your cheesefreshly shredded always tastes better.
  11. When your chicken is grilled to perfection, dice the chicken into bite size pieces.
  12. Brush both sides of your flat bread with olive oil and warm to golden on a cast iron griddle if you have one (or use what you have).
  13. Build your flat bread in the following order: flat bread, chicken, lettuce, ranch dressing, cheese, tomato, avocado, and lastly a shake of pepper for color and flavor!
  14. Fold the sides up like a soft taco, and take a big bite!
  15. Serve buffet style and enjoy!
  16. This is a fast and easy recipe, as well as a healthy meal!
