Herbed Cottage Pie

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F
  2. Heat the oil and fry the onion until brown.
  3. Lower the heat and add the beef and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Add the mushrooms, tomato puree, yeast extract and stock, cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Add the wine and simmer.
  7. Mix in the cheese and herbs to the mashed potato.
  8. Spoon the meat into a deep ovenproof dish.
  9. Top with the herby potato.
  10. Bake for 30 minutes.
