Homemade Peach Ice Cream (Diabetic) Recipe
- 1 quart. crushed peaches, sweetened to taste
- 9 teaspoon Sweet N Low
- 4 lg. Large eggs
- 2 cans evaporated lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- Lowfat milk
- Beat Large eggs till foamy, add in Sweet N Low, continue beating till creamy.
- Add in can lowfat milk and flavoring.
- Beat well.
- Add in peaches, mix well.
- Pour into 1 gallon ice cream freezer and add in whole lowfat milk to fill line.
- Freeze according to freezer directions.
- For vanilla ice cream use 4 1/2 tsp.
- vanilla.
- For richer ice cream, add in 1 can of evaporated lowfat milk.
- For peanut butter ice cream, use 1 1/2 c. peanut butter.
- For low fat diet, use skim lowfat milk.
