Dixie Pineapple Beans

  1. Combine 1/4 cup molasses, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and salt in a 1 1/2 quart casserole.
  2. Add beans, pineapple, pineapple juice, lemon juice and 1/4 cup of the pecans.
  3. Mix well.
  4. In cup, combine remaining pecans, 1 tablespoons molasses and butter).
  5. Spoon around edge of beans (optional).
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until beans are bubbly.
