Land And Sea Stew

  1. Remove sausage from casing.
  2. Crumble and saute.
  3. Remove fat on paper towel.
  4. In 2 tablespoons of olive oil, saute onion and garlic.
  5. Chop tomatoes coarsely.
  6. Place all ingredients in a saucepan, add sweet basil, fennel seed to taste and 1/2 cup of cooking wine.
  7. Simmer 45 minutes.
  8. Add clam juice, heat to a boil. Cook rotelli according to directions.
  9. Add pasta and clams to mixture.
  10. Stir and serve.
