Fishing Fa Frank Burger
- 4 ounces whiting
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Flour, as needed
- 1 egg, beaten
- Cornmeal, as needed
- Oil, for frying
- Mayonnaise, to taste
- 1 beef frank, cooked, cut in 1/2 lengthwise
- 1 onion, sliced thin and sauteed
- Baby spinach, as needed
- 1 hard roll
- Crushed red pepper, to taste
- Season the fish with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Dust the fish with flour, then dip in the egg and finally in the cornmeal.
- Pour enough oil into a skillet to come halfway up the fish.
- Heat the oil and add the fish.
- As soon as the first side is browned, flip and brown the other side.
- Remove to paper towels.
- Spread some mayonnaise on a hard roll.
- Place the fish, then the beef frank, the onion and spinach on the roll.
- Season with some crushed red pepper.
