Amish Friendship Bread (Lower Fat)
- 1 cup amish starter
- 34 cup applesauce
- 12 cup white sugar
- 12 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 egg whites
- 12 cup milk
- 12 cup water
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 12 teaspoons baking powder
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 (5 ounce) packages vanilla instant pudding mix (you can change the flavor of the recipe by changing the flavor of pudding)
- 12 cup white sugar
- 1 12 teaspoons cinnamon

- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- 2.
- Mix bread ingredients in a non-metal bowl.
- DO NOT use any metal implements to mix the batter.

- Grease 2 large loaf pans and dust them with 1/2 the cinnamon/sugar mixture.
- 4.
- Pour the batter evenly into the pans and sprinkle with the remaining sugar/cinnamon mixture.
- 5.
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Cool until the bread loosens from the pan, about 10 minutes.
