Braised Honey And Chilli Lamb Shanks Recipe
- 4 x lamb shanks, (4 to 6)
- 1 pkt Continental Honey Lamb Easy Meal
- 1 tsp John West Chopped Chilli, (1 to 2)
- 2 Tbsp. honey, (2 to 3)
- 1 Tbsp. mint, minced
- 1 Tbsp. thyme, minced
- 3 x cloves garlic, crushed (3 to 4) Cracked pepper to season
- 1 c. water
- Preheat the oven to 150 C.
- Place the Honey Lamb Easy Meal in a casserole dish and fold in 1 c. water.
- Add in all the other ingredients apart from the lamb shanks and mix well.
- Add in the lamb shanks and coat with the mix.
- Cook long and slow for two hrs or possibly till the meat falls off the bone.
- Serve with mashed potatoes.
