Strawberry-Banana Ice Cream
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 tsp. arrowroot
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 banana
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1/2 cup agave nectar
- Mix 2 cups cream and 1 cup whole milk and half cup of agave nectar and 2 tsps.
- arrowroot (used as a thickener).
- Pre-chill in freezer for 20-30 minutes.
- Peel and slice banana.
- Cut banana slices in half.
- Puree one cup of strawberries including green leaves on top.
- Whisk egg yolks in large mixing bowl.
- Add chilled cream mixture, banana and strawberry puree.
- Immediately add to Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker.
- Process for 20 minutes or until firm.
- Serve and freeze remaining.
- Note: Thaw leftover ice cream for 20-30 minutes before serving.
