MAKs Beer Chili
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 whole Large Onion, Diced
- 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 2 pounds Ground Turkey
- 28 ounces, weight Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 cup Dark Beer (lager Is Preferable, Yuengling Is Best)
- 3 Tablespoons Chili Powder
- 3 Tablespoons Hot Sauce (Frank's Red Hot Is Preferred In Our House)
- 13 cups Honey
- 10 ounces, weight Frozen Corn
- 15 ounces, weight Dark Red Kidney Beans
- 15 ounces, weight Light Red Kidney Beans
- 13 cups Diced Green Chilies
- 3 cubes Beef Bouillon
- 2 Tablespoons All-purpose Flour
- Heat oil in a large skillet.
- Add onion; cook and stir for 5 minutes.
- Add garlic; cook and stir for 2 minutes.
- Add turkey to the skillet.
- Cook and stir until turkey is no longer pink.
- Drain fat and discard.
- Place crushed tomatoes in a slow cooker.
- Add turkey, onion and garlic mixture to the slow cooker.
- Add the remaining ingredients.
- Cover; cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours or on HIGH for 4 to 6 hours.
