Chelsea Butter Bun

  1. Sift flour and salt into a basin, rub in butter lightly.
  2. Mix to a firm dough with milk.
  3. Roll dough into oblong shape, 1/4 inch in thickness.
  4. Filling: Cream butter and brown sugar together.
  5. Spread over dough; sprinkle with fruit and cinamon.
  6. Roll up lengthwise; cut roll into 14 thick slices.
  7. Pack into a greased 8 inch sandwich tin, cut side down.
  8. Bake in a moderate oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
  9. Brush bun with glaze while still hot.
  10. Glaze: Place ingredients into a small bowl, stir over hot water until sugar and gelatin dissolve.
