Cucumber Salad
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 13 cup white vinegar
- 1 or 2 cloves garlic, mashed
- Salt to taste
- 6 Kirby cucumbers, thinly sliced
- In a mixing bowl, combine one and one-quarter cups water with the sugar, vinegar, garlic and salt, if desired.
- Add the cucumbers to the dressing.
- Refrigerate for one hour before serving.
