Sweet Potatoes And Apples II

• 3 each sweet potatoes, or yams
• 1 cup apples sliced & peeled
• 1/4 cup sugar brown
• 1 x cinnamon
• 1 x butter
• 1/4 cup apple juice or water

1. Peel sweet potatoes, cut in 1/2 and slice.
2. Cook covered until nearly done in very little boiling water.
3. Take apples (sprinkle with lemon juice, if not tart).
4. Grease baking dish, place alternate layers of sweet potatoes & apples.
5. Sprinkle layers with 1/4 cup brown sugar, cinnamon, dot with butter & pour 1/4 cup water (or apple juice).
6. Bake 1 hour at 350F (180C).
