Banana Bread Pudding With Chocolate Sauce
- 1/4 cup Land O Lakes Butter
- 4 cups cubed 1-inch French bread
- 3 Land O Lakes Eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 medium (1 cup) bananas, sliced 1/4-inch
- Chocolate ice cream topping
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Melt butter in 2-quart casserole in oven.
- Stir in bread cubes.
- Beat eggs in bowl with whisk.
- Stir in all remaining pudding ingredients except bananas.
- Stir in bananas.
- Pour egg mixture over bread cubes; stir to coat.
- Bake 45-50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
- Spoon chocolate topping over each serving of warm pudding.
- Store refrigerated.
