Beef Barbecue

  1. Cut the roast into quarters; place in greased 5qt slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, combine barbecue sauce, preserves, green pepper, onion, mustard and brown sugar; pour over roast.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender.
  4. Remove roast and thinly slice; return meat to slow cooker and stir gently.
  5. Cover and cook 20-30 minutes longer.
  6. Skim fat from sauce.
  7. Serve beef and sauce on rolls.
