Turkey Cheddar Rice Bake Recipe
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 2 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 4 ounce. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. cooked Minute rice
- 8 ounce. cubed turkey
- 1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
- Heat 2 Tbsp.
- butter in a pan.
- In a gravy shaker, put 2 Tbsp.
- flour, 2 tsp.
- chicken bouillon granules and 1 c. lowfat milk.
- Shake well to mix and then gradually stir into melted butter (over medium high heat).
- Stir constantly to a boil.
- Remove from heat.
- Add in 4 ounce.
- shredded Cheddar cheese.
- Put 2 c. cooked Minute rice into a casserole dish which has a cover.
- Onto rice, put 8 ounce.
- cubed turkey and 1 c. sliced mushrooms.
- Spoon cheese sauce over rice mix.
- Cover and bake for 30 min at 350 degrees.
- Serves 4.
