Southern Comfort Cake

  1. Combine cake ingredients in large bowl.
  2. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour into greased and floured 10 inch tube or 12 cup bundt pan.
  4. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
  5. Set on rack to cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Invert on serving plate.
  7. Prick top immediately; drizzle and brush half of glaze.
  8. After cake has cooled, reheat glaze and brush it evenly over cake.
  9. To make glaze: Melt butter in pan.
  10. Stir in water and sugar.
  11. Boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  12. Remove from heat and stir in Southern Comfort.
