Salisbury Steak
- 1-1/2 lb. (675 g) extra-lean ground beef Safeway 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 1 pkg. (120 g) Stove Top Lower Sodium Stuffing Mix for Chicken
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 egg whites
- 1-1/3 cups water, divided
- 1/3 cup Kraft Garlic BarBQ Sauce
- 1 tsp. Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- Mix first 4 ingredients and 1 cup water until well blended; shape into 6 (3/4 inch-thick) patties.
- Heat large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat until hot.
- Add patties; cook 8 min.
- on each side or until done (160 degrees F).
- Meanwhile, mix barbecue sauce, remaining water, Worcestershire sauce and pepper.
- Drain fat from skillet.
- Pour barbecue sauce mixture over patties.
- Bring to boil; cover.
- Simmer on low heat 3 min.
- or until heated through.
