My Favorite Mac n Cheese
- 1 lb large elbow macaroni
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 lb Velveeta (cubed)
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/8 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Cook pasta according to package directions
- While pasta is cooking, melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat
- Add Velveeta to butter and stir
- Once the cheese starts to melt, add the remaining ingredients and continue to stir (careful not to scorch it!)
- Once completely melted and creamy, remove from heat
- Stir into prepared (and drained) macaroni
