Liver stew
- 500 grams Chicken liver
- 100 grams ground chicken
- 500 grams crushed tomatoes
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 100 grams mushroom
- 1 piece chicken broth (cube)
- 1 salt
- 1 black pepper
- 1 tsp sambal oelek
- 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Heat oil in a large pot.
- Add onion, garlic and mushroom.
- Cook until translucent.
- Chop the liver finely.
- Add liver and ground chicken to pot.
- When the meat is fully cooked add crushed tomatoes, broth, sambal and spices.
- Let cook for up to an hour until stew has reduced and thickened.
- Serve over pasta, rice or zucchini noodles.
