Werewolf Fingers

  1. Place large sheet of aluminum foil onto flat surface.
  2. Butter foil or spray with no-stick cooking spray.
  3. Combine sugar, corn syrup, whipping cream and butter in 2-quart saucepan.
  4. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, 4-6 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to medium; continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 20-25 minutes or until candy thermometer reaches 240F or small amount of mixture dropped into ice water forms a soft pliable ball.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Add baking chocolate and vanilla; stir until chocolate is melted.
  8. Pour chocolate mixture into 2-cup glass measuring cup or bowl.
  9. Dip each pretzel rod 2/3 into mixture, spreading chocolate to cover.
  10. Let excess drip back into cup.
  11. Place pretzels onto prepared foil, rotating if desired, for an even coating.
  12. Let stand until set.
  13. Place candy coating in bowl.
  14. Microwave 1 minute; stir.
  15. Continue microwaving, stirring every 15 seconds, 1-2 minutes or until melted.
