Austin Chili
- 4 pounds ground beef
- 28 ounces tomatoes stewed
- 2 large onions
- 4 each garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup flour, all-purpose
- 2 cans ranch style beans
- 1/2 cup chili powder
- 12 ounces beer
- 2 tablespoons oregano
- 2 tablespoons cumin
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- Saute onions and garlic in oil.
- Brown meat and add ingredients, except for beans.
- Simmer for two hours and then add beans before serving.
