Ellis Family BBQ Sauce
- 52 ounces catsup
- 24 ounces mustard (optional)
- 1 (9 ounce) bottle Worcestershire sauce
- 1 (9 ounce) bottle liquid smoke (optional)
- 1 (16 ounce) box brown sugar
- 12 cup butter
- 4 cups water
- 16 ounces barbecue sauce, Kraft's Honey
- Mix catsup, water and mustard until well blended.
- Add other ingredients one at a time until all have been mixed.
- Cook on high until it comes to a full boil, stir constantly.
- Reduce heat until simmering and continue to cook for 1 hour.
