Pan-fried Chicken Thigh with Honey and Lemon Juice

  1. Remove sinews etc., from the chicken thigh.
  2. Make shallow cuts across any thicker parts of the chicken to flatten the meat evenly.
  3. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Mix the ingredients marked and rub them into the chicken lightly.
  5. Mix the ingredients for the sauce.
  6. Add katakuriko to the chicken, and mix evenly.
  7. Heat about 1/2 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a frying pan.
  8. Cook both sides of the chicken until golden brown.
  9. Cover with a lid while pan-frying to cook thoroughly.
  10. Once the chicken is cooked, add the sauce to the pan.
  11. Slightly turn up the heat and coat the meat with the sauce.
  12. Serve the chicken with vegetables of your liking.
  13. Add a lemon slice to the plate, and enjoy!
