Amaretto Walnut Brownies Recipe

  1. Soak minced walnuts in liqueur 4 to 6 hrs.
  2. Drain, discarding liqueur.
  3. Heat butter and chocolate in a heavy saucepan over low heat.
  4. Beat Large eggs, sugar, and Swiss mocha at medium-high speed with an electric mixer 8 min.
  5. Gradually add in chocolate mix, beating at low speed till blended.
  6. Gradually add in vanilla, flour, and salt, beating till blended.
  7. Stir in minced walnuts.
  8. Pour into a lightly greased aluminum foil-lined 13- by 9-inch pan.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 min.
  10. Cold on a wire rack.
  11. Cut into squares.
  12. Garnish, if you like.
  13. This recipe yields 15 brownies.
