Pasta Bake

  1. Note: This is a large batch.
  2. It filled 2 casserole dishes.
  3. So you can easily cut this in half.
  4. Brown your ground beef and diced onion in a skillet.
  5. Prepare the water for your noodles.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  7. Put your whole peeled tomatoes in your food processor and pulse until liquid.
  8. Add the pasta sauce, parmesan and spices right in it and mix.
  9. Set aside.
  10. Grate your cheese while the hamburger cooks and water comes to a boil.
  11. Once meat is cooked, add your tomato mixture and bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer.
  12. Once your water boils, add your noodles and cook until firm but not mushy.
  13. Drain your noodles.
  14. Line a couple of casserole dishes with parchment.
  15. (It helps to wet it to fit in the corners better.)
  16. Add your noodles to the casserole pans.
  17. Pour your sauce over each one and stir lightly.
  18. Sprinkle your mozzarella over top.
  19. Put in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  20. Cheese should be melted and noodles not over-browned.
  21. Remove from oven.
  22. Serve with a smile.
