Our Family Favorite Tofu with 'Crab??' Sauce

  1. Cut the tofu in half and slice into 1 cm thick slices.
  2. Chop scallion, garlic and ginger finely.
  3. Shred the crab sticks thinly.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan.
  5. Add scallion, garlic and ginger and fry them slowly over a low heat until the aroma is released.
  6. Add water, chicken bouillon powder, and salt and turn up the heat to medium.
  7. Add the tofu and crab sticks and cook for 1~2 minutes until they absorb the flavor.
  8. Dissolve the katakuriko in water.
  9. Pour into the frying pan to thicken the sauce.
  10. Sprinkle on chopped scallion to garnish and serve.
