Our Family Favorite Tofu with 'Crab??' Sauce
- 1 one block Tofu (silken or regular, both are OK)
- 4 stick Imitation crab sticks
- 4 cm Scallions
- 1 Garlic
- 1 Ginger
- 200 ml Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 tbsp Chicken bouillon powder
- 2/3 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 Green onions or scallions
- 1 tsp Katakuriko
- 1 tbsp Water
- Cut the tofu in half and slice into 1 cm thick slices.
- Chop scallion, garlic and ginger finely.
- Shred the crab sticks thinly.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan.
- Add scallion, garlic and ginger and fry them slowly over a low heat until the aroma is released.
- Add water, chicken bouillon powder, and salt and turn up the heat to medium.
- Add the tofu and crab sticks and cook for 1~2 minutes until they absorb the flavor.
- Dissolve the katakuriko in water.
- Pour into the frying pan to thicken the sauce.
- Sprinkle on chopped scallion to garnish and serve.
