Amy Peanut Butter Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 180C - 350F , gas mark 4 .
  2. melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of hot water till it melts .
  3. Mix the margarine and peanut Butter then add the sugar and beat till light and fluffy , then beat in the vanilla essence , eggs and melted chocolate and mix well to combine all .
  4. sift the flour with the bicarbonate of soda and a pinch of salt , then fold the flour mixture alternately with the water till all is folded and combined through .
  5. pour batter mixture into prepared cake tin and cook for 30 - 35 minutes .
  6. leave the cooked cake in the tin for 5 minutes to cool a little then turn out to cool fully on a wire cake rack .
  7. spread with icing or topping of your choice .
  8. i can did a peanut icing sauce to ice the cake .
  9. enjoy .
