White Trash Panini
- 1 croissant
- 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter or 2 tablespoons chunky peanut butter
- 1 116 ounces milk chocolate candy bars (half or a regular size bar)
- 3 tablespoons marshmallow cream
- melted butter, for brushing
- powdered sugar, for sprinkling
- Heat a panini grill or other griddle to medium heat; use a serrated knife to split the croissant in half lengthwise.
- Spread one half with peanut butter.
- Break the chocolate into small squares and lay atop the peanut butter.
- Spread the Marshmallow fluff on the remaining croissant half (the quantities of the filling ingredients are approximations--let the size of your croissant, and your appetite, be your guide).
- Press the sandwich together; brush very lightly with melted butter.
- Press the croissant in the panini grill until it is slightly flattened and crisp and the filling is warm and melted, 4-5 minutes.
- Remove your croissant from the panini press and let it cool slightly.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar; use a serrated knife to cut in half.
- Eat immediately.
