Meatloaf with Tomato Sauce - Stuffed Meatloaf with Tomato Sauce

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees (225 C.).
  2. In a large bowl combine spices, bread crmbs, egg, onions, and garlic.
  3. Mix throughly with your hands.
  4. If the mixture is too runny, add more breadcrumbs, and if it is too dry, add some water by tspfuls.
  5. When mixed, spread the meat out flat on a wax paperlined cutting board (both because it is more sanitary and easier to clean).
  6. The mixture should be a rectangle.
  7. Sprinkle grated cheese onto the meat, reserving some of the cheese.
  8. Roll the meat up like a jelly roll or burrito with the cheese inside.
  9. Coat the bottom of a meatloaf dish with some of the tomato sauce and then place the meat on top of that.
  10. Pour the rest of the sauce over the meatloaf and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese.
  11. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in a 425 degree (225 C.) preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until sauce is bubbling and the meat is cooked all the way through.
