Chickpea Tikka Masala

  1. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, and saute 5 minutes, or until softened.
  3. Add garam masala, tomato paste, ginger, and serrano chile, and season with salt, if desired.
  4. Saute 1 minute more.
  5. Stir in chickpeas and tomatoes.
  6. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat, and stir in yogurt and cilantro.
