Grilled Oriental Pork Chops
- 2 to 4 pounds of pork chops
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 2 tsp Table salt
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Powdered ginger
- 1 tsp Chinese 5 spice
- 1 & 1/2 cups sweet and sour sauce (I use kikkoman)
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- Mix dry rub and season pork chops 4 to24 hours in advance.
- Set grill up for Direct Grilling.
- Mix the sauce and set aside.
- Grill pork chops 4 to5 minutes.
- (just until the juices start to pull on the top.
- Flip the pork chops and then sauce top.
- Grill another 3 or 4 minutes.
- Move the pork chops from directly over the heat to the cool side flip and sauce the other side.
- Cook for another minute or 2.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
