Biscuit Topped Chicken A La King Recipe

  1. In a large saucepan cook onion in butter until tender.
  2. Stir in flour, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add in lowfat milk all at once.
  4. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
  5. 1 c. frzn peas, thawed 1 - 2 ounce.
  6. can mushroom stems and pcs, liquid removed 2 tbsp.
  7. minced pimiento 2 hard cooked Large eggs, minced
  8. Stir in chicken, peas, mushroom and pimiento.
  9. Cook until heated through.
  10. Gently stir in hard cooked Large eggs.
  11. Turn mix into a 1 1/2 qt casserole.
  12. Bake in a 425 degree oven for 15 min.
  13. Cut each biscuit into quarters.
  14. Arrange biscuit quarters over chicken mix.
  15. Bake in the 425 degree oven for 8 to 10 more min or possibly until biscuits are golden brown.
  16. Makes 4 servings.
