Seriously Delicious Leek and Salted Pork Yakisoba Noodles
- 1 stalk Japanese leek
- 200 grams Thinly sliced pork belly
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 clove Finely chopped garlic
- 1/2 tbsp Chinese soup stock
- 1/2 tsp High-quality salt
- 3 packs Yakisoba noodles
- 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
- Finely chop the Japanese leek.
- Chop up the pork.
- Heat up the sesame oil in a pan and add the garlic.
- When it starts to release a nice aroma, add the pork and Japanese leek, and stir-fry until the meat changes color.
- Add the soup stock granules and salt to the pan with 100 ml of water, and bring to a boil.
- Add some katakuriko dissolved in water (1 tablespoon of water and 1/2 tablespoon of katakuriko) to thicken the sauce.
- Heat some oil in a frying pan and add the yakisoba noodles one packet at a time while untangling the noodles.
- Fry the noodles on both sides until crispy.
- When the surface of the noodles is crispy, add the salty pork sauce from Step 1 to finish.
