Chocolate Drop Cookies With Mocha Frosting Recipe
- 1 well beaten egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 ounce. unsweetened chocolate or possibly cocoa
- 1 2/3 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 c. minced walnuts
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. sweet or possibly sour lowfat milk
- Beat egg and sugar till light; add in vanilla and butter with melted chocolate or possibly cocoa; blend well.
- Add in sifted dry ingredients alternating with lowfat milk.
- Add in nuts.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased sheet 2" apart.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 min.
- While hot, frost with: 6 tbsp.
- butter 3 c. confectioners' sugar 6 tbsp.
- warm coffee 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Combine cocoa and coffee; add in butter and vanilla.
- Beat till smooth.
- Add in sugar slowly till right consistency.
- Makes 3 dozen.
