Mini Hawaiian Bread Sandwiches
- 12 whole King's Hawaiian Bread Rolls
- 1/2 pounds Smoked Turkey, Sliced Thin
- 1/2 pounds Honey Or Brown Sugar Ham, Sliced Thin
- 1/2 pounds Hot Pepper Cheese, Or Pepper Jack, Sandwich Sliced
- 1 whole Purple Onion, Slivered Or Sliced Really Thin
- 4 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- Preheat oven to 325F.
- Line a cookie sheet with foil.
- Remove Hawaiian Bread Rolls from the package and slice them in half through the middle, so you have a top and bottom.
- Place the bottom half of your bread on the foil-lined cookie sheet.
- Do a couple of layers of each meat, and then top with cheese.
- Place a couple of slivers of purple onion on the cheese.
- Place the top half of bread to complete the sandwiches.
- NOW heres the most important part: melt your butter in a small pan, throw in the garlic and let it simmer a minute.
- Then you want to brush the tops of your sandwiches with this garlic butter, and put them in the oven.
- I usually do around 10 minutes to make sure theyre good and hot.
- But really, all you want is a slightly crispy top, and melted cheese.
- When you take them out of the oven, flatten them down a bit with a spatula.
- These are best served warm!
- Enjoy!
