Award Winning Strawberry Banana Chocolate Pie Recipe
- 12 x strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 x banana
- 2 1/2 c. chocolate chips (375 milliliters)
- 1 c. sugar (250 milliliters)
- 3 Tbsp. corn starch (45 milliliters)
- Line an aluminum pie plate with tin foil.
- Place 2 c. of chocolate chips into pie plate and heat in 425 degree F (220 C) oven for 10 min to let heat.
- Form melted chocolate into pie shell.
- Chill to harden chocolate.
- To make filling.
- Combine strawberries, sugar and cornstarch and heat in pot over medium heat until syrupy consistency is achieved.
- Chill to let cold.
- When Chocolate pie shell is cooled and hardened.
- Place banana slices into the shell and pour cooled strawberry mix over bananas.
- Peel away the aluminum foil to reveal the chocolate shell.
- Drizzle 1/2 c. melted chocolate over the strawberries and chill to let set.
- Serve when cooled.
