Root Beer Rocks

  1. Combine yeast, water and sugar and let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Then add the flour, salt, and oil.
  3. Knead dough and let rise for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Punch down.
  5. Cut dough in half and then cut each half into 8 pieces.
  6. Roll out each piece into a 6-7 inch round.
  7. In the middle of each dough circle, place one spoonful of sauce, 4 slices of pepperoni, and half a cheese stick.
  8. Fold over and crimp the edges with your fingers (pinch tightly so you dont have any blowouts!).
  9. Place on a baking pan.
  10. Brush melted butter on each pocket and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and a little garlic salt.
  11. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350 F until golden brown.
