Chocolate covered strawberries

  1. Rinse strawberries and dry with paper towel, set aside.
  2. Place candy melts in a microwave safe dish and heat until melted, stirring every 30 seconds.
  3. Will take less than 2 minutes.
  4. Hold on to strawberry top and dip into melted candy melt, place on wax paper.
  5. For nuts or mini chocolate chips, place each in a bowl and after you dip the strawberry sprinkle the nuts or chips over the strawberry (hold over the bowl).
  6. For lines melt candy melt and put in plastic bag and cut the tip.
  7. Make sure the tip is small.
  8. For tuxedo dip in white, let it harden then dip diagonal in black.
  9. Dots are done using a toothpick.
  10. No need to refrigerate, candy melts will harden fairly quickly.
