Chocolate Velvet Ice Cream
- 4 cup whipping cream
- 1 14 ounce can ( 1 1/3 cups) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 16 ounce can (1 1/2 cups) chocolate flavored syrup
- 2/3 cup coarsely chopped walnuts, cashews, or almonds
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk, & chocolate syrup.
- Beat with an electric mixer on medium to high speed until soft peaks form (tips curl).
- Fold in chopped nuts.
- Transfer the mixture to a 13 X 9 X 2 inch pan; freeze about 8 hours or until firm.
- If desired, top each serving with whipped cream, sprinkles, and a maraschino cherry.
