Long Island Green Tea

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Add Green Tea Vodka, lemon juice, orange liqueur, and Simple Syrup.
  3. Cover and shake until mixed and chilled, about 30 seconds.
  4. (In general, the drink is ready by the time the shaker mists up.)
  5. Strain into a tall glass filled with Flowery Ice Cubes, if using.
  6. Place both tea bags into the vodka.
  7. Cover, shake, and let steep for 2 hours.
  8. Remove and discard the tea bags.
  9. Put the sugar and water in a small saucepan.
  10. Cook over low heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves.
  11. (Alternatively, heat in the microwave.)
  12. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
  13. Yield: about 1 1/2 cups
  14. Drop 1 edible flower into each segment of an ice-cube tray; fill with water and freeze.
