Orange & Cinnamon Spiced Nuts

  1. Heat oven to 325F.
  2. Spread all nuts into 15x10x1-inch baking pan.
  3. Bake, stirring occasionally, 20-25 minutes or until lightly toasted.
  4. Combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in bowl.
  5. Beat egg whites in bowl at high speed, scraping bowl often, until soft peaks form.
  6. Continue beating, gradually adding sugar mixture, until stiff peaks form.
  7. Gently stir in nuts and orange zest.
  8. Melt butter 4-6 minutes in oven in same pan.
  9. Spread nut mixture into pan.
  10. Bake, stirring every 10 minutes, 20-30 minutes or until nuts are brown and no butter remains.
  11. Cool completely.
  12. Store in airtight container.
