Peach Cobbler
- 1 (32 ounce) can peaches, sliced
- 1 cup water
- 12 cup butter
- 1 12 cups sugar
- 12 teaspoon cinnamon
- 12 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 cups pie crust mix, prepared as directed on package
- Mix peaches, water, 1/4 cup butter, 1 1/4 cups sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Roll 1/2 of pie crust, cut into 2" squares, add to peach mixture and soak for 10 minutes.
- Roll the rest of the crust, cut into small strips and lay on top.
- Spread 1/4 cup butter over strips.
- Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg on top.
- Bake 20 minutes until brown.
- Note: Bake in 8 x 8" pan.
