Tofu-Sesame Appetizer

  1. Brown tofu on both sides in heated nonstick skillet.
  2. Remove to a dish and let cool.
  3. In small saucepan combine water with cornstarch; stir to dissolve cornstarch.
  4. Add soy sauce, wine, honey, ginger and mustard.
  5. Stirring constantly, bring mixture to a boil and cook until thickened; let cool.
  6. Cut tofu into 1/2-inch pieces.
  7. Pour sauce over tofu, cover, and marinate for 1/2 hr; turn pieces and spoon sauce over other side.
  8. Just before serving, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
