Raw Chocolate Pie
- 1 cup Pitted Dates (soaked In Water For 1 Hour)
- 2 cups Walnuts
- 1 cup Raw Agave Nectar
- 4 whole Medium Avocados
- 1 cup Cacao Powder (Raw Chocolate Powder)
- In a small bowl of water, soak your dates for an hour or overnight.
- Then drain them.
- In a food processor or blender chop your nuts to a fine mixture.
- Add your dates and process until you have a fine texture.
- Drizzle in 1/2 cup of the agave nectar and pulse to combine.
- When the dough comes together and you are able to make a ball in your hand, press it into a pie dish.
- Or to make it more pretty push it into a springform pan, pushing it up a little on the sides and keeping it thinner towards the middle.
- Peel, pit and cut up your avocados.
- Add the avocado flesh into your food processor or blender.
- Blend.
- Add in your cacao powder (you can purchase cacao powder online or at your local health food store) and pulse to combine.
- Drizzle in 1/2 cup raw agave nectar for sweetness and pulse until everything is well mixed.
- Spoon the avocado mixture onto your prepared walnut date pie shell.
- Spread it out evenly.
- Put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Optional: Add raspberries or chopped chocolate to the top for extra goodness!
